Since its establishment in 1881*, MINERVA has undergone many changes. The most recent transformation occurred in 1991 when it became a joint-stock company. In 1997, the German company Dürkopp Adler AG Bielefeld became the majority shareholder. Since 2005, when the majority of shares in Dürkopp Adler AG were acquired by the Chinese company SGSB Group Co., Ltd., also a manufacturer of industrial sewing machines, MINERVA BOSKOVICE, a.s. has become part of this international group. However, the majority shareholder of MINERVA remains Dürkopp Adler, which has provided MINERVA with a new perspective in the production of industrial sewing machines. The connection with Chinese capital is expected to facilitate greater penetration into Chinese markets.
Today, MINERVA is a modern joint-stock company creating attractive job opportunities in the Boskovice region. It is not just a manufacturing enterprise but a company with a well-experienced development base, supported by experts in procurement and sales.
The company relies on the technical expertise of its employees and the innovative potential they offer. Their high qualifications enable the delivery of high-quality machines tailored to specific customer requirements. We continue to strengthen these advantages and, along with the efficient production of key components and assembly, we are further expanding our current product offerings.
MINERVA BOSKOVICE, a.s. is an example of how a company that is willing to adapt to new conditions, focus on high quality, and maintain top technical standards can remain competitive in global markets over the long term.
